President & CEO

An accomplished speaker and published author, Rob Ekern is the developer of the Analytic Brokerage™ Methodology. 

With over 30 years in the insurance industry, Rob was considered to be one of the nation's top performing brokers when he started his own consulting company in 1993. Since then, his guidance has helped many organizations across North America increase their profitability, growth, and develop their sales teams. 

Rob is considered the industry expert on Total Cost of Risk quantification and franchise account attraction and retention strategies.

Chad Ekern

Director of Operations

Chad Ekern joined C.R. Ekern & Company in 2004 after graduating from Arizona State University. Since then, he has assumed the position of Client Services Director and now Director of Operations.

Chad has led project development on the following products:

  • TCORCalc® (formerly The Major Account Development System (MADS)™)
  • The Consultative Brokerage Learning Management System
He also manages the TCORCalc® on-boarding process, develops custom client solutions, and is heavily involved in strategic planning. Although his focus has been primarily on application development, project management, and client outreach, he also dabbles in website design and audio/vsiual media content creation.

Lex Latkovski

Director of Sales & Marketing

Lex began his insurance career in 1991 with Willis, as part of their National Executive Development Program. He gained his large account brokerage training in Nashville and San Francisco. In 1996 he joined the Willis office in Phoenix in the capacity of a Large Account broker.  During this time he earned both his CPCU and ARM designations.

Lex joined with Rob Ekern and C.R Ekern & Company in 1999 to help deliver cutting-edge brokerage training and large account sales techniques to leading brokers.  He has been instrumental in creating the highly acclaimed “Analytic Broker Briefing” and the TCORCalc® Platform.

His primary duties with C.R. Ekern & Company include working with top performing brokerage firms in North America.  He also assists team members on product and technology development along with the mathematical modeling of TCORCalc.

Lex Graduated from Vanderbilt University with a double major in Mathematics and Spanish.  An avid world traveler and adventurer, Lex is fluent in Spanish, has visited all 50 U.S. States and 78 countries around the world, and can solve a Rubik's Cube in 90 seconds.

Keith Fimreite

Lead Software Engineer

Keith joined the C.R. Ekern & Company team in 2011 to become Lead Software Engineer for TCORCalc and the Major Account Development System.

He designed C.R. Ekern & Company's applications, websites, security, and marketing strategy. As an IT Consultant, Keith has led project development for several companies and non-profit organizations. Keith is an avid traveler, adventurist and an Ironman finisher.
